Honey Glazed Fruit Salad

This food is very low in Saturated Fat, Cholesterol and Sodium. It is also a good source of Dietary Fiber, Vitamin A and Potassium, and a very good source of Vitamin C and Manganese.

Makes 10 servings
Serving Size: ½ cup
Nutrition Facts (per serving): Calories: 155; Total Fat: 5 grams; Sodium: 5 mg; Carbohydrate: 24 grams; Fiber: 4 grams; Protein: 2 grams

Ingredients:

  • 11 ounces mandarin oranges
  • 2 cups sliced strawberries
  • 1 cup banana, sliced
  • 1 apple, sliced
  • 1 ounce walnuts, chopped
  • ¼ cup raisins
  • 1 avocado, chopped
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • ½ cup orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon poppy seeds
  • Juice and zest from 1 lemon

Directions:

  1. In a large bowl, toss all fruit.
  2. In a small bowl, stir lemon juice, zest, honey and poppy seeds.
  3. Pour over fruit. Stir well.
